Welcome from the Missouri Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors and Landscape Architects

The Missouri Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors and Landscape Architects welcomes you to the "Show Me State," where we aim to show you why St. Louis is a great place to visit, work, and live.

Downtown St. Louis is filled with restaurants, shops, and sporting venues, all within walking distance or a short cab ride from the hotel. Head over to Forest Park, just a few miles from downtown, where you will find the science center, history and art museums, and our world-class St. Louis Zoo. Must-see St. Louis icons also include the botanical garden, a National Historic Landmark founded in 1859 with 79 acres of scenic landscaping and historic structures; the recently rebuilt Busch Stadium; and of course, the St. Louis Gateway Arch, the nation's tallest monument at 630 feet. A visit to St. Louis isn't complete without standing at the arch's base. The view from the outside is only half of the experience, so don't miss a tram ride to the top for a stunning panoramic view of the
St. Louis area.

We are excited to have NCEES visit our phenomenal city, home of the 2011 World Series champions, the St. Louis Cardinals.

Meeting registration

The deadline to register is July 13. After that date, you can still register for the meeting, but registration fees increase by $50 for delegates and $25 for guests. Click here to register for the annual meeting.

Business sessions

The 2012 Action Items and Conference Reports is an excellent preparation tool for annual meeting business sessions. It includes the business agenda, consent agenda, motions, and reports from officers, committees, and task forces. The publication will be sent to everyone who registers to attend, and a PDF will be posted online by July 13.

Funded delegates

NCEES will fund the meeting registration and travel expenses of one voting delegate from each eligible member board to the 2012 NCEES annual meeting. NCEES will also fund the meeting registration and travel expenses for one first-time attendee from each member board (must have been appointed to the board no more than 18 months prior to the start of the meeting, or no earlier than February 21, 2011).

NCEES will be direct-billed for airfare and hotel room and tax charges for four nights. For delegates to qualify for this funding, NCEES must be notified of their identity by June 1. Funded delegates must register for the meeting by July 13. They also must make their travel arrangements directly with Travel Inc. by July 13.

Accommodations

Reservation deadline: July 13

The 2012 annual meeting will be held at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch. NCEES has reserved a block of rooms at a special room rate of $159 per night (single or double occupancy). Annual meeting delegates should make travel arrangements and reserve accommodations as early as possible before the NCEES room block is exhausted. Any unused rooms in the block will be released after July 13. After that date, rooms may be reserved based solely upon availability and special meeting rates may not be available.

Delegates can arrange their hotel accommodations online or by phone at 314-655-1234. When making reservations, identify yourself as an attendee of the 2012 NCEES annual meeting to receive the special group rate. NCEES encourages you to book your room within the room block so the Council can fulfill its room block obligations with the hotel. Please cancel any unneeded reservations before July 13 so that other attendees may take advantage of the discounted room block rate. Rooms released after July 13 will not be made available to other attendees.
